Magnetic gradiometer survey
Cumulative results of magnetic gradiometer surveys to summer 2004. The grey scale runs from -12 nT (black) to +12 nT (white). Extension of the survey shows more occupation to the west, with a strongly featured trackway leading to a large enclosure. The feature running obliquely across the western enclosure is a modern service.
Ground resistivity survey
Cumulative results of ground resistivity surveys to summer 2004. The grey scale runs from 70 ohm (black) to 170 ohm (white) measured resistance. Completion of the resistvity survey over the southern part of the fort confirms its small size. The ditched enclosure within the fort shows clearly, with well-marked E and W entrances. The S side appears to follow the S side of the fort.
